About the work

Disability is Authenticity is a poem and photo series of dreams of our future; where we can all be accepted as our authentic expansive selves.

The photos aim to capture the beauty and personality of all the flowers intertwined.

Disability is Authenticity

In our future, there is love for all
Every person - all worthy
All equal, all abundant
Love for each other
And love for ourselves

We generously share in warmth, love, and compassion
Passing it, trading it, sharing it
The never-ending currency

No one is left behind
We all have access and opportunity
We all have a voice

Our future is for all
We can all hope, dream
We all dare to dream limitlessly

We carve this future
Where disability is authenticity
Never belittled, patronised, or offended
Only believed in - only loved
In our future.
