Bus Radio - Gertrude Talks

Gertrude Talks was a weekly discussion series produced by Bus Projects in partnership with Gertrude Contemporary hosted by studio artist Georgia Banks.

Each episode a new theme was brought into focus by host Georgia Banks in conversation with current and recent Gertrude Studio Artists.

Over the series, Georgia Banks talks with Jason Phu, Sam George, Lisa Radford, James Nguyen, Joseph Griffiths, Andrew Atchison, Spiros Panigirakis, Matthew Harris, and Sarah Brasier, Amrita Hepi, Eugenia Lim, Hoda Afshar, Mia Salsjö, Tracy Burgess, and Mark Faery.

Over April and May 2020, Gertrude Talks was broadcast live every Saturday from 1 – 2pm through Bus Radio.

Gertrude ​​​​​​is an independent gallery and studio complex working at the forefront of contemporary visual arts practice in Australia.

Bus Projects is an artist-run organisation dedicated to supporting the critical, conceptual, and interdisciplinary practices of Australian artists.

In addition to its core gallery-based program of exhibitions, events, and residencies, Bus Projects collaborates with a range of artists and arts organisations to produce projects off-site and within the public realm.
