Footscray Community Arts Centre (FCAC) presents Collaging at Home with Maya Hodge.

Join the multi-disciplinary artist and create your own original work with collaging. A Lardil woman raised in Mildura, Maya’s work focuses on healing from the past and present, which she explores through performance, collage, oil painting and poetry.

In this workshop, Maya introduces her creative practice and tips and tricks that will inspire your curiosity in collaging as an artistic medium.

Following her simple steps, you can work from home with what you have at your disposal to create meaningful and personal artwork.

Maya believes in pushing the envelope: don’t be afraid to cut things up and stick them together.
