Since opening in 2002, Fed Square has seen more than 100 million visits and has been named the 6th Best Public Square in the World. 

This is the first episode of a new mini-doco series that shines a light on some of our favourite stories of Fed Square and the fascinating features that make the precinct anything but square!

From seedy underbelly to the current home of some of Melbourne's best bars – Riverland and Pilgrim – the Princes Walk Vaults have a history as storied as the Square itself, as the literal foundation of Fed Square's connection to the Yarra River.
