Melbourne Queer Film Festival – Online Program Extended

Melbourne Queer Film Festival's online program has been extended until Sunday 5 December nationwide.

This is MQFF’s 31st year on the big screen, showcasing 140+ of the latest and greatest feature and short films from all over the world.

Audiences in Melbourne, Regional Victoria and across the country flocked to cinemas and tuned in at home to see what the MQFF31 program had in store, and as always it didn’t disappoint.

MQFF's online program has been extended until Sunday 5 December, including Firebird (pictured above) which boasted sold out sessions during the festival!

The online program features a juicy look into the story of the ill-fated musical adaptation of the movie Sunset Boulevard, in Boulevard! A Hollywood Story .

No Straight Lines  explores the history of queer comics, and  Kapana is Namibia’s first ever LGBTQIA+ feature (which screens with short film Hakuumacaato). The program also features an audio described version of Sweetheart  - a look into the life of AJ, a sullen 17-year-old who is dragged on vacation to a beachside holiday park with her close-knit family.
