Michael visits three farmers, all of whom offer an incredibly different insight into fresh produce from the region.
Michael’s first stop is at Tuerong Farm, whereby farmer Jason’s passion for wheat has resulted in the land being used for wheat cultivation and flour milling.
Staples Apples in Main Ridge is an orchard that produces different apple varieties such as Golden Delicious, Pink Lady, and Granny Smith.
The final farm is at Hillock Downs Produce Store, a farm currently run by 3 generations of family, and is exceptionally dedicated to sustainable traditional farming and educating people about ethically farmed beef.
Michael's journey along the Mornington Peninsula and intimate interviews with each farmer provides insight into behind the scenes at each of the farms and how these raw ingredients create such an incredibly fresh and flavoursome Country-farmed Beef Terrine served with Spice Apple Chutney, Sourdough Crisps, and Organic Black Garlic.
