Now in its 20th year, Clayton Festival is a melting pot of local entertainment, food, and culture and a chance for celebrating, showcasing, and empowering our community.

A new cookbook, LIVE cooking demos, podcasts, and a Virtual Dinner Party hosted by Tamil refugee Nige. Flavours of Monash has something everyone can enjoy.

  • Cook live with all the amazing chefs from the Flavours of Monash cookbook.
  • Create a Fantasy Menu through a world of wild imagination and magical hands, a creative world of Arty Farty Workshops for children.
  • Join the Mocktail Mixology workshop, covering all the equipment, techniques, ingredients, and garnishes necessary to make the perfect booze-free drink.
  • Listen to the 12 ‘Flavours of Monash Cookbook’ cooks describing the origins of their delicious recipes.
  • Attend the Virtual Dinner Party with Nige, your host for a very special evening of cooking, eating, and conversation.
  • In Flavours of the World, some wonderful women of the world will demonstrate a variety of different traditional dishes originating in kitchens globally while explaining the important cultural significance of each unique dish.
  • Or sign up for the Intergenerational Greek Cooking. During lockdown, the National Union of Greek Australian Students initiated "Sintagi Sundays”, an intergenerational initiative where members cook Greek traditional dishes with their older Greek relatives.
