Mindfulness & self compassion
Mindfulness and Self Compassion can be described as skills we can learn to be more aware and engaged with what’s happening in the day-to-day moments, rather than being caught up in our worries and concerns.
In this introductory series with Suzanne Peyton, a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher of nearly 20 years, you’ll learn ways to help you:
- Steady the mind and calm the body
- Feel less overwhelmed
- Treat yourself with more kindness and gentleness
- Respond to, rather than react, to life’s challenges
The program covers Mindfulness in week one, and Self-Compassion in week two. You can choose to follow it sequentially, exploring a new practice each day, or you can simply experiment with whatever most appeals to you, and continue to practice those ones.
