Each year, Brunswick Music Festival runs an industry development mini-conference called Sound Sessions.

The 2021 series was presented in partnership with Milk! Records and Small Time, and made possible with the support of the State Government through Creative Victoria.

This year's three sessions were also live-streamed on the festival's Facebook page, and now you can learn from seasoned professionals in the music industry anytime you need advice.

This year’s Sound Sessions are:

DIY: Develop your personal/band brand, coordinate a tour, find a label, self-manage, and release. Moderated by Jen Cloher and with guest panellists Marcelle Bradbeer, Samuel Gaskin, and Simona Castricum.

THE NEW NORMAL: How, where, and why to live-stream - tips and tricks on how best to do it. Moderated by Emily Ulman and with guest panellists Allara, Eliza Hull, and James Seymour.

RECORDING: Producing your own work in a bedroom or studio setting. Moderated by Evelyn Ida Morris and with special guests Anika Ostendorf (Hachiku), Diimpa, and Raquel Solier (Various Asses).
