Karkarook means sandy place and the sealed and mostly flat path around the lake makes for an accessible walk in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.

Visitors come to cycle, jog, and stroll this peaceful lakeside walk.

Anglers are welcomed too and the lake is stocked with fish throughout the year.

This video is part of the All Abilities walks series.
