Learn how Bats interact with their environment

The bat population on the island is being monitored by ecologist Alex Holmes to see how the 13 different species of bat (yes 13!) live and interact with their environment, and how environmental flows impact their food resources and lodging requirements.

The bats reside in the woodland vegetation areas of the island and rely on a healthy floodplain ecosystem to maintain their food supply.
