This year the 24th Annual Wimmera Biodiversity Seminar is focusing on farming and biodiversity, with a range of speakers to enjoy live online.

Event 1 is on 16 September 2021 from 11:00am – 12:30pm

Session 1 Karen O’Keefe and Bronwyn Bant discuss tailoring natural resource management programs to reach new participants, including rural women, who are influential decision-makers on farms.   

Session 2 presented by Tammy Jonas from the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance, a farmer-led organisation made up of organisations and individuals working together towards a world in which people can collectively create, manage and choose their food system. 

Event 2 is on 23 September 2021 from 11:00am – 12:30pm

Session 1 is presented by Barengi Gadjin Land Council and Dja Dja Warrung people discussing the Kangaroo Grass Pilot project in central and central-west Victoria. 

Session 2 is presented by Colin Seis focusing on profitable regenerative agriculture.
