Online Resources for Teen Mental Health

While many are recovering from what felt like the longest lockdown, some of us are finding it a little harder to bounce back to 'normal'. We are here to let you know that such feelings are normal!
There is a number of free online platforms available to support the mental health of the youth in our community.


Here are a few of our recommendations for you, or your loved ones to tap into when they need some extra support.

Headspace

Headspace is the National Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25-year-olds. 

If you're someone between the age of 12 and 25 living in Australia, you can  Register Here  to create a free account with Headspace. 

Once you have registered, you will be granted access to group chats, online support communities, and 1:1 direct support from professionals. 

 

Kids Helpline 

Kids Helpline is Australia's free confidential 24/7 online and phone counselling service for young people aged 5 - 25. 
Qualified counsellors are available via WebChat, phone or email anytime and for any reason. 

Their services are specifically catered to different age groups:

Kids (5-12)   
Teens (13-17)  
Young Adults (18-25)
